Pure raw organic honey obtained from the virgin tropical forests that meets international quality standards and is packaged under strict conditions to maintain natural fragrance, taste, and nutritional value. It is frequently seen as a healthier option.
This honey is gathered from wild bees (Apis Dorsata) discovered deep in the forest. The value of honey is determined by the flowers from which bees collect nectar. And where can you find a wide range of herbal and therapeutic plants in their entirety? In a forest, Right! Blooming plants in the centre of beautiful green forests are not only fresh and abundant, but also 100% organic. Our tribal honey foragers go deep into the forest to harvest the honey collected by wild bees from these plants, finally providing you with the best of nature in a jar.
Our Forest Honey is gathered from Apis Dorsata, the world’s largest honey bee. It is a grouping of three forests in central India: Pench Forest, Kanha Forest, and Melghat Forest. Apis Dorsata are the indigenous Honey Bees, often known as Rock Bees, that are exclusively found in Southeast Asia. They built natural hives in the forest, and the honey obtained by these indigenous honey bees is free of human intervention. This makes us the Forest honey, which is honey in its purest form. We pack this delicacy in its natural state, as taken from the hive. Our honey is 100% natural, raw, organic, unprocessed, and unpasteurized. To remove larger dirt particles, some rudimentary filtering is performed. We take precautions to ensure that bee pollen is not eliminated during the filtration process.
It contains high-nutritional-value bee pollen and propolis. The appearance and flavour of raw honey might vary from batch to batch, depending on the season and the flowers from which the bees collect nectar. The crystalline texture of raw honey complements tea, toasts, and sweets. If you want pure honey to be more fluid, soak the jar in warm water for a few minutes before using it.
Health Benefits of Raw Organic Forest Honey
- Helps Maintain Skin Health: Honey is a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory that aids in the healing of acne outbreaks and the prevention of secondary infections. Honey also lowers acne redness and edoema. It prevents dust from accumulating in the skin pores and absorbs pollutants from the pores.
- Keeps Your Heart Healthy: According to one study, honey may help decrease blood pressure, improve blood fat levels, regulate your pulse, and prevent the death of healthy cells – all of which can enhance the performance and health of your heart.
- Promotes burn and wound healing: In ancient Egypt, topical honey therapy has been used to cure wounds and burns. This technique is still prevalent today. A study of 26 research on honey and wound care showed that it is particularly helpful in healing partial-thickness burns and wounds that have become infected following surgery.
- Helps in Digestion: Unpasteurized, raw honey includes enzymes that promote digestion, particularly of carbs and sugars, relieving pressure on the gastrointestinal system.
- Relieves Cough: Pure honey is a good cough cure due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities, and its viscous texture soothes the throat.
Why our honey is so expensive?
Organic honey takes longer to make. Our beekeepers place the boxes in densely forested areas where the flora is abundant. They travel to those inhabited areas in order to obtain the highest quality, honey. Obtaining such high-quality honey is incredibly laborious, tough, and time-consuming, which has an impact on the price of our honey. In addition, our packaging is in glass jars rather than plastic jars. Plastic jars are less expensive and easier to handle, but they are not good for honey. Honey loses its quality when stored in plastic jars.
